File contains one copy of the American Artists in Italian Private Collections exhibition catalog. This exhibition celebrates the reopening of the McKim, Mead and White building. The McKim building was closed for eighteen months (1992-3) for restoration and repair. The American Artists in Italian Private Collections exhibition celebrates the reopening, the centennial, and 100 years of American-Italian collaboration in the Visual Arts.
The artists that are represented in this exhibition are: Alexander Calder; Jim Dine; Franz Kline; Louise Nevelson, Robert Rauschenberg, AAR Trustee 1980, Trustee Emeriti; Mark Rothko, AAR Visitor 1943-1951; Mark Tobey, Cy Twombly, AAR Visitor 1980-81.
