Scope and Contents
The American Academy in Rome Incorporation Papers include bills of the 58th Congress to incorporate the Academy in 1904. Thereafter, the organizational records of the Academy consist of by-laws and amendments; a consolidation agreement between the AAR and the American School of Classical Studies in Rome in 1911; a comparative study; working files on mission statements; and a McKinsey and Company report entitled, " The American Academy in Rome: One Organization in Two Countries;" that includes a presentation to the Board and a restructuring plan.
