The Bini collection (ca. 3000 prints, ca. 2000 contacts and ca. 1500 slides) focuses on archaeological sites in Rome and the Roman world, and also includes images of Etruscan art, and Medieval and Renaissance art and architecture.

The AAR-Barbara Bini Collection of photographs on Rome consists of ca. 1000 images including contacts, photographic prints and duplicates. A selection from positives has been cataloged and corresponding negatives digitized.

Work described: contact from a 12 shot sheet. All images from different details on the Arch of Constantine, north side frieze of Constantine: Constantine addressing the citizens of Rome at the Rostra. Details of the Rostra and its surroundings are clearly identifiable. The Basilica Julia can be seen on its left side, with the Arch of Septimius Severus on its right. Five columns appear directly behind the Rostra.
